The Museo del Canal Interoceánico de Panamá is a non profit institution for the service of community and its development. Through careful selection, acquisition and exhibition of the objects and materials related to the history, construction, technology and operation of the Panama Canal, the museum is visiting by people of all ages who are interested in learning about the fascinating testimonies of the history of Panama and the Canal.
Museums and cultural venues participate in Museum Day voluntarily. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for individual museum content or participation.
