Mt Pleasant Pioneer Relic Home and Blacksmith Shop Website »
We are a pioneer home. Relics were collected in 1909 just for the purpose of honoring the early pioneers to Mt. Pleasant. The home itself was built and owned by the first mayor and bishop of Mt. Pleasant, William Stewart Seely.
We have artifacts, relics, large framed pictures of the pioneers, histories and more. Adjacent to the home is a working blacksmith shop.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
