The MGMA houses seven galleries including a Courtyard Sculpture Garden, a Museum Store, classroom facilities, an Arts Resource Center and a Performance Rotunda, and each month, Eureka’s Arts Alive! brings an average of 2,500 community members to the Museum to enjoy musical performances and art exhibitions.
The Autumn Art Auction at the Morris Graves Museum of Art will be held on Saturday, September 25th and will feature local wines, beers and hors d'oeuvres, as well as artwork by prominent local artists.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
