The Mid-Hudson Children's Museum (MHCM) is dedicated to providing fun, hands-on learning opportunities for children ages 0 to 10 years. The museum has established a rich history of providing interactive exhibits and programs that both educate and fascinate children, families and educators from throughout the Hudson Valley region.
Interactive exhibits include the Hyde Park Mastodon interactive play space; GIANT bubble machine, A River Town experience; Virtual Reality Gaming Center; Little Sprouts Farm, a hands on farming area for toddlers; Water Play Table and much more!!!
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
