The Lubeznik Center for the Arts is a newly renovated cultural venue, providing a variety of art experiences to diverse local communities, while creating opportunities for local and regional artists. The Center focuses on serving residents of LaPorte, Porter and Lake Counties, with an extended reach to the South Bend, IN area, Southwest Michigan, and Chicago-land.
The LCA presents the annual Lakefront Art Festival the 3rd weekend in August. Located in the nearby Washington Park - right on the lakefront beach - it is an outdoor gallery accessible to motorists, boaters and foot traffic. Admission $4.
Museums and cultural venues participate in Museum Day voluntarily. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for individual museum content or participation.
