Opened in 1952, the Lowe is Miami-Dade’s oldest art museum. It is comprised of the region’s most comprehensive collection of western and non-western art from ancient to contemporary: Italian Renaissance & Baroque; Greco-Roman antiquities; 17th-21st century art of the Americas and Europe; art of Africa, Asia, Native and Ancient America along with the Palley Pavilion for Contemporary Glass and Studio Arts.
