Lindsay Wildlife Museum is home to fifty species of live, wild, non-releasable native California animals, which visitors can observe up close. The museum features many interactive exhibits for all ages and a large discovery room with special explorations and activities for children.
Live animal encounters all day. Enjoy wildlife hospital behind-the-scenes presentations, meet a resident owl, hawk or eagle, petting circles, observe feedings and trainings. See website for details.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
