Former resort hotel on the shores of Cedar Lake, Indiana, featuring artifact collection from late 1800's through early 1900's of fashion, industry, and local businesses and a breathtaking lake view from our wraparound porch.
Exhibit includes historic tool room, men's and women's fashion collection, 1920's era kitchen, parlor, dining room, bedroom, school room as well as featured businesses such as Dr. Scholl, Armour Bros. Ice and Lassen Resort Hotel.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
