Washington State's only quilt museum! Featuring three floors of quilt, textile & fiber arts exhibits ranging from traditional to contemporary. Located in the 1891 Historic Victorian Gaches Mansion, in the artistic waterfront town of La Conner, Washington.
Exhibits are "All That Blooms: Quilts from Japan," "Japanese Textiles," and "Quilts from the Arnold Family" featuring quilts and coverlets from 1835--1930's.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
