Kingman Museum is Southwest Michigan's only natural history museum. The museum also is one of only three museums in Michigan to have the Digistar IV planetarium system, now showing full dome, High Definition shows.
The mission of Kingman Museum is to provide lifelong learning opportunities in natural history, the universe, and world cultures for all ages for all time.
New Mezzanine Gallery now open! See new exhibits on Michigan habitats, oceans, birds, animal skulls, insects, and more! Other exhibits include rocks and minerals, dinosaurs, and the ice age. "Lamps of Atlantis and "Wonders of the Universe" will be shown in the planetarium.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
