Take a journey through the history of space travel. Witness the world’s most significant collection of U.S. and Russian space artifacts, including the actual Apollo 13 command module, Liberty Bell 7 Mercury capsule, Gemini X, V-1 and V-2 rockets and a flown Vostok spacecraft.
Key artifacts on exhibit are the German V-2 Rocket, Titan rocket, Soviet Vostok Space Capsule, Voskhod Spacecraft, the Liberty Bell 7 flown by Gus Grissom, Gemini X, a lunar module, an actual Apollo Era White room, the Apollo XIII Command Module Odyssey and a Moon Rock brought back from the Apollo XI mission.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
