Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum offers climbing tours of the landmark 1860 lighthouse. The waterfront museum is a restored WWII building. The Lighthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is part of the first "Outstanding Natural Area" east of the pacific coastline.
Exhibits
"Glimpses of River History: Postcards from the Past." The exhibit features Florida maritime, Native American and Pioneer history. Outdoor exhibits included on lighthouse tour. Last lighthouse tour leaves at 4pm. Children must be 4' tall to climb tower.
Museums and cultural venues participate in Museum Day voluntarily. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for individual museum content or participation.
