The Hutchinson House Museum is a well-preserved example of New England Style architecture that is filled with beautiful artifacts, furniture, and clothing from the Victorian Era. The house was built in Waupaca in 1854 by Chester and Susannah Hutchinson and is the oldest existing house in the City of Waupaca. The house was purchased by the Waupaca Historical Society in 1956 and moved to its current location in South Park and opened as a public museum in 1957. A special exhibit of Vintage Children's Clothing is featured for 2009. The Museum is open on weekends throughout the summer and on Museum Day, Sept. 26, 2009. Admission is FREE.
