Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art is a not-for-profit contemporary art venue located in Peekskill, NY, one hour north of New York City. The museum features a 12,500 sq ft exhibition space, including a video screening room and contemporary art resource library. HVCCA offers a diverse range of exhibitions and programming throughout the year including The Peekskill Project.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
