German Culture Day
a celebration of German culture old and new. Our first-ever German Culture Day will take place Sept. 28, 2013 at the Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead, MN. It will entail a variety of cultural activities and artistic performances and demonstrations that will entertain and educate visitors about the culture of Germany both as it has been preserved by descendants of German immigrants to our region and as it is experienced in Germany today. Enjoy the music, dancing, food, beer and wine of Deutschland.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
