The Green Briar Nature Center and Jam Kitchen offers natural history classes, live animal exhibits,art exhibits, wildflower garden and walking trails. The historic 1903 Jam Kitchen is a "living museum," where jams and jellies are still made using turn-of-the-century methods. Unique gift shop.
Museums and cultural venues participate in Museum Day voluntarily. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for individual museum content or participation.
