The Grand Encampment Museum, located in Encampment, Wyoming, preserves history with its collection of over a dozen historical buildings filled with artifacts representing the timber, mining, and agricultural history of the Encampment valley.

Exhibits

We will have the two-story outhouse on display on if weather permits you can climb the 65ft Slash Ridge Fire Tower. We also have the Owen Wister Traveling Exhibit on display until October 15th.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
