Exhibits

Colorama (June 19-Oct 17, 2010)
Eastman House celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Kodak Colorama—the gigantic panoramic images that dominated Grand Central Terminal from 1950 to 1990—with this inaugural display. Promoted as “the world’s largest photographs,” Coloramas presented a photo album of American life. Includes 30 Colorama reproductions, some printed up to 80 inches wide.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
