Gatekeeper's Museum in Tahoe City presents the natural and cultural history of Lake Tahoe regionally and in the context of the American West. The Steinbach Indian Basket Collection features more than 900 baskets from tribes west of the Mississippi River-including a hat more than 1500 yrs old.
