The Fowler Museum at UCLA explores art and culture from Africa, Asia, the Pacific, and the Americas, past and present.
On display this fall, Transcultural Pilgrim: Three Decades of Work by José Bedia; Icons of the Invisible: Oscar Castillo; Mapping Another L.A.: The Chicano Art Movement; and Intersections: World Art, Local Lives.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
