Foss Waterway Seaport brings Tacoma’s historic, bustling waterfront to life! Explore our classic models of Tacoma's tall ships; steamboat and military vessel artifacts; active boat building workshop; “Discovery Wharf” hands-on learning area; and a whale skeleton now being assembled! There’s fascinating treasure for all ages!

Exhibits

Historic Tacoma displays are surrounded by our classic recreational boats and the sounds, sights and beauty of the new "Wheels, Whistles and Wonder" maritime artifacts exhibit; exact replica models of Tacoma’s first Tall Ships; and a fascinating whale skeleton being articulated into a lifelike configuration.




Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
