The Fort Lowell Museum is located in the reconstructed Commanding Officer's quarters of Old Fort Lowell, originally established in 1873. The museum features exhibits about military life on the Arizona frontier.
Exhibits topics include the history of the fort, its soldiers, and their families and the Apache Wars. Period furniture, photographs, uniforms, military equipment, and medical equipment are on display.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
