FVAC prides itself in ‘Connecting creativity to daily life’ by offering arts instruction for all ages, 20 artist studios, an artist in residence program, and two galleries to display a wide range of art. At the Arts Center's galleries, you'll discover a specially selected collection of handcrafted jewelry, glass, ceramics, textiles, woodworks and wall-art created by the region's and North America's most skilled artists.
Interpretation and Inspirations- Open Juried Show. This juried show invites the community to submit current works of art for selection to the jury process. The galleries and all 20 artist studios will be open for exhibit. The studio arts range from Kinetic Sculpture to Oil Paining to Seatweaving.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
