The Ethan Allen Homestead Museum and Historic Site is a bucolic escape within the boundaries of Vermont's largest city, Burlington. This natural oasis located along the Winooski River is the site of the home of Vermont's controversial founder and the hero of Fort Ticonderoga, Ethan Allen. Ethan Allen's home has been restored and is open to the public for guided tours.
Museum, gift shop and guided tours are open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 4pm , May 13-Oct. 10th 2010
