The Dumbarton Oaks Museum features the extraordinary art collection begun by Mildred and Robert Woods Bliss in the early 20th century. The unique galleries are an extension to the Historic House, including the Phillip Johnson Pavilion and the Music Room.

Exhibits

The exhibitions feature collections of Byzantine and Pre-Columbian art and European masterpieces. We'll also feature a special exhibition, "All Sides Considered: New Research on the Maya Collection."
The Museum Shop will offer a 15% discount on purchases with your Museum Day card.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
