A lovely historic house museum with permanent exhibits depicting the expansion of Danbury from a town to a city. Includes the 1785 John and Mary Rider House, the 1790 John Dodd hat shop, several one room schoolhouses and Marian Anderson's practice studio. Expansive archival library, gift shop and exhibit hall with seasonal displays.
Special exhibit in Huntington Hall entitled "Hometown Heroes - A tribute to Danbury's fire and police departments" .
