Cripple Creek District Museum Website »
Five of the most historic buildings in Cripple Creek are filled with displays, exhibits and artifacts including two Victorian apartments, an authentic miner's cabin, the former home of French Blanche LeCoq, an assay office, art gallery, photographs, maps, documents and millions of other artifacts. Our very unique gift shop carries the best book selection in the county.
For 2012 the Museum has added an all new Victorian Child's Room, a permanent display with antique furniture, children's toys, a giant dollhouse and a doll collection from around the world. Also check out the new look in our newly updated Gift Shop!
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
