The Crested Butte Mt. Heritage Museum is open year round. We have unique and pertinent items to our Museum in our Museum Store.
The Crested Butte Mt. Heritage Museum contains exhibits that include local history, skiing, railroading, mining and a study of Crested Butte personalities. We are also the home of the Mt. Bike Hall of Fame.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
