Corydon Capitol commemorates Indiana's first state capital. In November of 1816, the first General Assembly met here and on december 11, 1816, Indiana was admitted to the uniom as the 19th state.
Interpreters will be stationed in the Corydon Capitol building to greet guests, tell the story of Indiana Statehood and answer questions.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
