Cortland County Historical Society is a House Museum, and research facility open to the public with a primary focus on the history of Cortland County.
The main display focuses on 19th Century Historic Interiors of Cortland County. The military exhibit has been expanded and focuses on Cortland History from the War of 1812 through the Vietnam War. Special for 2009:
Cortland County Connections: Abraham Lincoln, explores the connections between Cortland County and our 16th president.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
