Conner Prairie Interactive History Park Explore more photos from this museum

At Conner Prairie Interactive History Park, you’ll find four themed historic areas to explore: Lenape Camp, Conner Homestead, 1836 Prairietown, and 1859 Balloon Voyage. In each area "look, don’t touch" becomes "look, touch, smell, taste and hear” as you live history first-hand. Explore 200 beautiful, wooded acres, and discover exciting, memorable ways to experience the past with your family. Don’t miss the new 1863 Civil War Journey: Raid on Indiana opening June 4, 2011.

Exhibits

Conner Prairie Interactive History Park includes four themed outdoor areas, as well as an indoor Discovery Station, Craft Corner and Science Lab. Discover one of the earliest chapters of aviation history at Conner Prairie’s 1859 Balloon Voyage. Experiment with the science and technology of ballooning, then soar 350 feet above the landscape in a tethered, helium-filled balloon and see the world like John Wise did!

Find a wide variety of mouth-watering options at Café on the Common. Then stop by the Conner Prairie Store, located in the Welcome Center, to explore our unique variety of artist-made items, gourmet treats and distinctive gifts!
