The museum has artifacts, pictures, newspapers from the Chugwater area, which includes, Iowa Center, Little Bear, Slater, and Iron Mountain homestead areas. We also have pictures and related articles of the Swan Land and Cattle Company.

Exhibits

Exhibits includes office equipment from the first bank in Chugwater, kitchen utensils, old washing machines, buggies, antique cars, pictures of area ranches. This year we have exhibits of early Wyoming saddles and Indian artifacts.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
