Through publications, exhibits, and educational programming the Chemung County Historical Society tells the stories of Chemung County, New York. In addition, the Society relates the history of the people, places, and events of the region within the context of state and national history.

Exhibits

- Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better (Handicrafts)
- A Community Album (history of Chemung County from the 1700s to roughly 1972)

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
