Explore one of NYC's unique attractions - the world's largest cathedral. The Cathedral’s dome is taller than the Statue of Liberty, and its length spans two football fields. Discover soaring Gothic and Romanesque architecture, magnificent stained glass windows, beautiful gardens, and wandering peacocks.

Exhibits

In addition to self-guided visits, the Cathedral offers guided tours at 11am, noon, 1pm, and 2pm. Please visit our website for tour descriptions and tickets. The Cathedral’s exhibit “The Value of Water: Sustaining a Green Planet” will be on view.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
