Cason Cottage Historic House Museum Website »
The Cason Cottage House Museum, built as a private home c. 1924, now serves as an educational tool for the Delray Beach Historical Society. The house is furnished as if a South Florida family were living there in the period 1915 to 1935.
Along with vintage furnishings, clothing, appliances and toys in the Cason Cottage, the Delray Beach Historical Society also offers tours of their Native Florida Plant garden and the city's archive collection.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
