This WWII Museum, dedicated to the amphibious soldiers of WWII, includes artifacts from all the men and women who fought in the war: uniforms, vehicles, war memorabilia, etc. Many artifacts are quite rare, and worth the trip.

Exhibits

We have artifacts from both the Japanese and German Fronts (including weapons), as well as American uniforms and weapons. Of particular interest are the rare Japanese propaganda fans, as well as the three vehicles, reproduction of a barracks room, and the movie theater showing documentaries.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
