At the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, visitors experience the history, culture, art, and natural history of the American West. The five-museum complex includes the Buffalo Bill Museum, Whitney Gallery of Western Art, Plains Indian Museum, Cody Firearms Museum, and Draper Museum of Natural History.
Museums and cultural venues participate in Museum Day voluntarily. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for individual museum content or participation.
