Located in a 1792 hotel building in the historic Village of Ballston Spa, Brookside Museum has five galleries and a hands-on-history room, a research library, and a gift shop. Our mission is to inspire community memory by telling Saratoga County’s story through interactive and engaging exhibits and programs.
"The Threads of Time: Piecing Together Memory and History Through Quilts and the Stories They Tell" examines the history of quilts and quilting in Saratoga County. Each displayed quilt is accompanied by stories of its maker and information on its construction.
"Here Comes the Bride" - an exhibit on Bridal culture.
"The Beauty of the Forest" - Art by Nancy McGrath, a local Ballston Spa artist.
