The Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery mission is to exhibit, collect, and preserve historic and contemporary works of art significant to the interior American West. In addition the Museum hosts art exhibitions that represent the principal artistic styles and periods of world cultures.
The Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery will be displaying an international invitational exhibit of art quilts, fabric collages, and embroidery. This exhibit will be called "Everything in Between" and will feature 48 artists from 21 states and 6 countries. The show will run between September 27th and November 10th.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
