The Museum creates exhibits designed to foster an understanding and appreciation for the unique history of the Boulder region and the resourceful, innovative people who have chosen to live here - a living history that grows with each new generation.

Exhibits

BEER! Boulder's History on Tap is on exhibit through October 27, 2013. Discover the evolution of brewing beer in Boulder County from the late 1800s through decades of prohibition and the emergence of Boulder's current craft brewing phenomenon. Check the Museum website for exhibit related programs and events.




Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
