Booth Western Art Museum is a 120,000 square foot museum where guests are invited to See America's Story through contemporary Western artwork, a Presidential Gallery, Civil War gallery, more than 200 Native American artifacts, and Sagebrush Ranch – an interactive children’s gallery.
Western Art Below the Sweet Tea Line III
The Booth’s signature triennial exhibition series, featuring seldom seen great works of art from public and private Southern collections. Included are more than 50 paintings and sculpture in a range of media and styles covering over 150 years of art history.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
