Our museum makes its home in the Art and Science building of the former Will Mayfield College campus overlooking the foothills of the ancient Ozark Mountains. Supported entirely by private funding and dedicated volunteers, the Museum began operation in 2000.
A life-size model of the Missouri Dinosaur, hypsibema missouriense, discovered in Bollinger County, our fossil preparation lab, Will Mayfield College memorabilia, Civil War ballistics, Native American artifacts, digitized presentation of historic local photographs, wireless radio development, artifacts from the wreck of the Montana.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
