The Blanton Museum of Art is one of the foremost university art museums in the country. The Blanton’s permanent collection of more than 17,000 works is recognized for its European paintings, modern and contemporary American and Latin American art, and an encyclopedic collection of prints and drawings.
The Blanton Museum of Art invites you to discover our permanent collection, spanning over 500 years of art. From our encyclopedic collection of prints and drawings to our Old Master works, from modern masters to contemporary installations, we have something for everyone!
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
