Birger Sandzén Memorial Gallery Website »
The Gallery exhibits the artwork of Swedish-American artist and educator Birger Sandzen. Also exhibited are shows from the Gallery's collections and regional, national and internationally recognized guest artists. Special exhibits, gallery talks, and chamber music programs complete the Gallery's calendar.
In addition to artwork by Birger Sandzen, the Gallery will feature a retrospective exhibition of artwork by Betty Jo Houchen; paintings by Nelson Smith, Steve Dudek and Patrick Clark.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
