Billings Farm & Museum Website »
Enter the gateway to Vermont’s rural heritage with a visit to the historic Billings Farm - one of the finest Jersey farms in America and a museum of Vermont’s rural past. Dairy farm, restored farmhouse and creamery, farm life exhibits, daily programs and activities.
The Vermont Farm Year in 1890 depicts the home, community, and seasonal work that shaped the lives and culture of rural Vermonters. The authentically restored 1890 Farm House reflects the farm in Frederick Billings’ day. Tours and programs explore 19th century farm and domestic life.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
