The Biedenharn Museum & Gardens embodies beauty and elegance. Built in 1914 by Joseph A. Biedenharn, the first bottler of Coca-Cola, the home exhibits rare furnishings and antiques. ELsong Gardens features many “treasures” including thousands of flowering plants, picturesque statues and graceful water features.

Exhibits

The Biedenharn Museum & Gardens celebrates its newest exhibition Books of our Founding Fathers. Take this rare opportunity to view books printed or commissioned by such greats as Samuel Adams, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, and Charles Thomson.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
