Milwaukee's only place for hands-on play and interactive learning, just for kids 10 and younger and their grown-ups! The Betty Brinn Children's Museum experience encourages hands-on learning and the development of fundamental skills, self-esteem, and the ability to work with others. Caregivers use the Museum as a resource that provides information on early childhood brain development, learning styles, and effective parenting skills.
Explore Home Town, featuring a kid-sized grocery store, post office, pizza cafe, mechanics' shop, factory, construction site and TV station; It's Artastic!, highlighting performing, visual and language arts; Let's Play Railway, our train exhibit; Kohl's Healthy Kids: It's Your Move!, highlighting healthy lifestyles; and more!
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
