Founded in 1998, the Belz Museum of Asian and Judaic art has the largest and most comprehensive collection of Asian art in the southern region of the United States. A cultural treasure located in the heart of downtown Memphis.
The permanent collection includes more than 900 objects, including exquisite jade and ivory carvings, fossils, and an emperor's chair! Pieces range in date from 202 BC to the early twentieth century. The collection of Judaica includes some of Israel’s most celebrated contemporary artists.
