Belcourt Castle (1891-1894)was designed by Richard Morris Hunt in Louis XIII style for Oliver Hazard Perry Belmont, who married Alva Vanderbilt in 1896. Sixty rooms were originally dedicated to Belmont's horses, with one bedroom and no kitchen. Restored by the Tinney Family in 1956 Belcourt houses collections from 33 countries and 37 Newport Mansions.

Exhibits

magnificant architecture, European and oriental furniture, stained glass, gold coronation coach, porcelains, chandeliers, paintings, rugs, armor, musical instruments, statuary, sculpture and antiquities.

Guided tours and special Ghost Tour at 5pm
