The Arizona Historical Society Museum at Papago Park interprets Arizona’s history with a special emphasis on the 20th Century. Interactive indoor and outdoor exhibits include desert water use, Arizona’s World War II Home Front, and the post-war growth of desert cities.
Museums and cultural venues participate in Museum Day voluntarily. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for individual museum content or participation.
